Very persuasive…

In Year 5, we are learning how to write persuasively. We have read a letter by Mr Smith, complaining about his neighbour’s many cats. Today we are story mapping and using actions to learn the letter off by heart.  

   

Time to type!

Mrs Kelsall and Miss Hernon are expert typers!  They would tell you it is a very useful skill that they learned that they use in their jobs a lot!  In fact if you learn to touch type when you are younger it will be one of the most useful life skills you can have!

I wish I could touch type rather than have to look for each letter!

To help you learn we are going to use technology to help us as we are going to use Typing Club!

we will be doing this until half term so it is worth doing a little practicing at home if you can!
