Mythical teachers…

Today, was Transition day for the whole school so for the day Year 4 have had lessons as Year 5 with the Teachers.

Pupils found out about some of the very exciting topics they will be learning about next year; Greeks and Space.

Mr Stevenson wasn’t very well so 5S made him a welcome film so he could see us all.  We watched an excellent Greek Myth – Theseus and The Minotaur

In the afternoon we tried our hardest to write our own version of the story.  We hope Mr Stevenson enjoys our films and reading our stories.

Computing Spreadsheets

We’re learning to count!

I think we might have learned to count many years ago in Reception so this lesson will isn’t us learning how to count really but to use the =count( or =countif( functions of a spreadsheet!  Before we get started we will need to open and copy the spreadsheet into our own area of our Google accounts.

Register Investigation.

Before we even get started we need to make the spreadsheet look better – or more user friendly, by adding lines and some shading.

From this…

to this!

Next we will be using count to work out the marks.
